All Regional Health Authorities (RHA) have a central intake where applications for mental health services are received. Each RHA has developed its own eligibility criteria and central intake process. The central intake team reviews every application and decides the priority of need for services. Depending on the eligibility criteria and priority for services, individuals will be placed into a service provided by the RHA or will be put on a wait list for service.
