Level IT Up (www.levelitupmb.ca) is a social enterprise dedicated to promoting the mutual benefits of employing skilled adults with ASD in Manitoba’s tech sector.
Using proven processes openly shared by Meticulon, a similar, established social enterprise in Calgary, as well as expertise from other organizations around the world working in this sector, Level IT Up uses a comprehensive intake process, followed by an introductory 3-week training/assessment program. Level IT Up staff work with participants who become Level IT Up consultants through the training process. Consultants are then placed in work environments where employers have been given background knowledge about ASD as well as a point of contact with Level IT Up who can provide ongoing support as needed.
Likewise, Level IT Up consultants moving into the workforce will have ongoing access to support and mentorship through Level IT Up job coaching personnel.
